Religious People are More Moral

This blogger believes that atheists are moral as many of us were raised in historically Christians countries. As an English citizen I did indeed grow up around Christian inspired architecture, but did Britain’s history contribute to my morality if religion was almost completely absent from my upbringing? I don’t think it did. And if our history was anything to go by, morality was not exactly at it’s peak back then.

I’ve also heard atheists say that you’re not moral if you need religion to be moral.

These quotes completely disregards the fact that for normal people to do really good things, one needs religion.

When was the last time you heard an atheist charity? Name one. A Christian charity? There’s many.

Studies have shown that religiosity correlates with morality. Maybe I should lay down the gauntlet and say that “atheism is an insult to human dignity, without it you have normal people doing normal things, with it you have less moral people.”
