(Some) Christians are willing to lie

Posts such as this one, Don’t have that Appendix Removed it isn’t a Redundant Part of Evolution, do not paint a pretty (or in any way accurate) picture of atheism. Here is a quote from the post:

One’s worldview changes everything. If a person is convinced that he evolved from the animals, then it is understandable when he acts like an animal. If he thinks life is accidental, then he will face each day without purpose to life. It surprises no one that he will live a hedonistic, selfish life. Since he assumes that he and others are not made in the image of God, he has no obligation to treat others in a kind, gracious, and friendly manner.

I won’t get into a ‘you did it! No, you did it!’ back and forth, but are religious people really setting the standard in terms of morality? When it comes to animalistic behaviour religion takes the cake. Discrimination, mindless violence… These are largely brought on by religious beliefs. The quote above is nothing but a bunch of untruths.

If a person is convinced that he evolved from the animals, then it is understandable when he acts like an animal.’

Do you know an atheist that acts like an animal? Please tell me if so. Yes, I am aware we are animals, you know what I mean.

If he thinks life is accidental, then he will face each day without purpose to life.’

I don’t do this, yet I am made to believe I should. God must have been made ‘accidentally’, I mean how can someone decide to make themselves? Isn’t god just as ‘accidental’ as let’s say, the Big Bang?

It is rather humerous to see that this post celebrates the appendix as a valuable organ after scientific evaluation deems it so. Why celebrate now? Why were you less confident to showboat before this news article? It seems like you give more credit to science than you like to think, gloating about religious beliefs but only after science gives the thumbs up.
