If dogs have a better sense of smell than humans, why hasn’t a dog said so?

‘Religion doesn’t have all the answers, but neither does science’ is a terrible argument. 

I can forgive science for not having all the answers, it’s totally understandable. Nature cannot talk, how is it expected to provide the answers? We have to discover answers ourselves and with our limited capabilities, I will sleep tonight knowing that science does not have all the answers. 

Religion needs to have the answers. It is arrogant to suggest that because science does not have the answers, why should religion? Religious pressure is rife and demanding, yet hilarious. 

‘I don’t have all the answers, but neither do you!’ 

True, but I’m not claiming to have a perfect and flawless belief system, you are. If this is not what you’re claiming, what is your reason for worship?

It’s like claiming that humans have a better sense of smell than a dog. If the dog does, why hasn’t it said so by now? I’m going to assume it hasn’t.

  1. Have you ever read the Book of Job? You’d better hope you’re right.
    BTW, there’s a difference between religion doesn’t have all the answers and God doesn’t have all the answers.
    Personally, I hope to learn all about “science” from the one who created it, after I get to Heaven. That’s an opportunity I just can’t figure out why so many people reject.

      • You said, among other things, that religion is hilarious. If you’re wrong – it’s not hilarious, but quite serious – then you should read Job. Or pretty much any of the warnings in the Bible to people who feel like what you wrote.

      • If there are such dramatic consequences for my choices, your God seems to be very aggressive. I will not resort to being an ass kisser like yourself. If heaven is full of people like you, this fate seems much, much worse.
        If I have to search for a book and if I don’t find it get punished, this is immoral. How do you know that there isn’t a book out there that you haven’t discovered and for this will be punished? I feel for your lack of thinking.

    So… pascal dead and gone, why on earth should he be feared?
    Threats of Eternal torment in a place you can’t demonstrate to actually exist?
