Cast your mind back to school. The class bully did something behind the teachers back, and the whole class had to stay behind until either someone owned up or told the teacher who it was. Can you remember how the other kids did not want to admit who it was in fear of a beating after school, so the whole class resorted to a mutual punishment or have to stay back for detention?
Do you notice how as fully grown adults, we are told not to paint everyone with the same brush, and that because of a small minority the rest of the associated group should not be held accountable or punished?
Where did we learn and first experience this mentality?
