Sweaty palm time

As fearful as I am of heights, this didn’t stop me from enjoying the wonderful views. You can make out some of the stadium seats and corner flag through the walkway.

It did make me stop and think about just how crazy construction workers must have been way back when, many of the historical buildings can be seen from here.

 Very cool.

  • That grating is a negatory for passage. I fell through one as a kid, and I can’t stand on them anymore. There is no way I’d be taking pictures from that height. Sheesh, just looking at the pics is terrifying enough.

    • I’m not going to lie, I was terrified. Not enough to have a panic attack, just enough to be uncomfortable throughout. It was blowing a gale too, the adrenaline was pumping for a while afterwards!
I would have probably turned down the offer if I fell through that at some point in my life, was it a big drop that you fell through?

      • I don’t know. I think it was a storm drain, and I had grabbed the ledge in enough time. Either it only went down a few feet, or it might have led to a long pipe. Luckily my brother was there to help me out.
